Observing Nature: Forest Bathing

Have you ever tried forest bathing? Many folks on our team love it, and find a lot of benefits in the act of going out, observing with the natural landscape around you and just breathing it in!! An understated aspect of the permaculture design process is developing a personal relationship with the land, understanding the earth on a more complex, interconnected level and noticing the little things as well as the big ones.

As Rob describes in this video, observing nature provides a great deal of benefit on multiple levels, for the whole family! There’s wisdom in many various cultures and doctrines that teach these methods of grounding and spending time in nature. Try it out, and if you do or already have, let us know in the comments below how your experience was!
