River Basin Biotype Aquascape for Endangered Fish

In this one, I make a biotype aquascape for a variety of endangered fish, Ameca splendens (Butterfly Splitfin). I saw these incredible fish at a local fish store a few weeks back and had to get them for one of my 40 gallon tanks. The specimens I have still need to color up, but they’re really beautiful fish with interesting behaviors.

As I said in the video, I’m really looking to add another layer to what I’m doing in the animal room. I’m always trying to showcase incredible animals in nature-inspired setups, but why not do this for threatened/endangered animals when I can? It seems like a great way to bring light to animals such as these.
