Update from Jordan

The Greening the Desert Project in Jordan continues to grow every year, but this year there’s HEAPS of work going on as the project extends. In the coming weeks and during the practical course, two new greywater systems, plus a new compost toilet, will be installed. The strawbale/mudbrick house and the natural swimming pool will be completed. Once the weather cools down, and we’re in the yearly cycle where there is less evaporation and hopefully some rainfall, we can plant anything in the nursery. It’s also the time of year that we chop and drop, so food forest maintenance will dramatically change what the site looks like… until next year 🙂
